Wazine 17% Dewormer 8 oz
Wazine 17% is a concentrated dewormer or vermifuge that is added to drinking water for the removal of large roundworms, mostly Ascaridia spp. in chickens, turkeys, and peafowl.
The active chemical is piperazine. Do not use with birds younger than six weeks of age or with birds producing eggs for human consumption. Birds should be treated every 30 days to break the roundworm life cycle.
For best results when using drinking water based de-wormers, start by removing water from your flock in the evening. Then provide only Wazine-treated water to the flock the next morning. Birds should be thirsty, and you can watch and be certain that every individual bird drinks and is dosed with the medication. Provide the Wazine-medicated water only, and make sure that it is properly distributed so that all birds in the flock have full access to it, for a full day. After a day, discard any left over medicated water and provide regular drinking water.
